Wild food forage and cooking days are held each season at Crann Og Eco Farm. This purchase entitles 1 person to attend 2 consecutive forage days throughout the year. Once you have purchased your forages we will confirm by email which of the forage days you wish to attend.
Collect wild foods, use them fresh and learn how to preserve, make all kinds of treats from delicious elderflower delight to relishes, dried mushrooms, and wonderful liqueurs. Guided foraging walk and workshops for small groups.
Combine foraged food and organic foods from Mary and Crann Og to create a delicious, healthy and rewarding meal together at Crann Og.
- Spring Forages: Sat March 19: Identify spring hero of the hedgerows and make nutritious health boosting foods.
- Sat May 14: Learn what’s available in late spring, flowers and much more. Make all sorts from floral syrups to home made wines and a few surprises!
- Autumn bounty: Sat/Sun September 10 – 11: With a little luck for a good Summer, woods and hedges will be full of berries, nuts and fungi……a feast for the forager.
- Year’s end: Sat October 22: Fungi, preserves and much more.
