It is the luxury end of Killarney’s certified eco hotel cluster and the only 5-star property in the town to hold formal Green Hospitality recognition.
The Certification
The Green Hospitality Eco-Label requires the implementation of a documented Environmental Management System and independent assessment of performance across energy, water, waste, biodiversity, and community engagement. Membership of the programme commits the hotel to an ongoing improvement framework.
Sustainability Measures
The Europe Hotel has reduced its carbon emissions by 5% over an 18-month period prior to search verification, and has installed PV solar panels on its tennis court rooftop to power the hotel’s EV charging points. These measures sit within the hotel’s formal environmental management programme.
